World Languages and Cultures Bridge Program
The Bridge Program offers students who have studied in Dual Language Immersion the
opportunity to take advanced, college-level language courses in high school. These
"Bridge" courses are taught in specific high schools throughout the state of Utah
and give students the opportunity to advance their professional language skills while
earning credit towards a minor or major in that language. Bridge students can continue
advancing their language skills at the University of Utah by engaging in a variety
of opportunities including studying abroad, participating in learning projects with
the Bennion Center, getting internships through Hinkley Institute, and so much more.
Competency in these languages also goes hand-in-hand with so many careers, especially
when pursued as part of a dual degree.
